What you will do

• Enforce adherence to PMO governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with methodologies, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct independent governance reviews, stage-gate checks, and assurance activities across the project lifecycle.
• Produce portfolio-level governance reporting and dashboards to monitor KPIs and risk ageing.
• Identify cross-project themes and systemic risks, providing actionable recommendations for intervention.
• Support the evolution of PMO standards and the development of minimum mandatory project controls.
• Collaborate with and constructively challenge Project Managers to ensure delivery health and accountability.

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Around 4 years of experience in PMO, project governance, assurance, or control roles.
• Strong understanding of PRINCE2, APM, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience in conducting governance reviews and quality control activities.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project systems (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
• Must be based in London
