What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, high-throughput data processing systems.
• Build and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and data science teams.

• Write clean, tested, production-quality code at scale.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, or C++.
• Experience with large-scale data systems or cloud platforms.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Flink and/or Apache Spark for stream or batch processing.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented software development (LLMs/Copilot).
• Experience with Kafka, data lakehouse architectures, or SQL engines.
