What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the data platform, including pipelines, data lake, governance, and security.
• Design and implement solutions to optimize data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis.
• Partner with data and BI analysts to ensure the platform effectively supports their analytical needs.
• Build self-serve accessibility tools and platforms for organization-wide data usage.
• Mentor and develop the technical and analytical skills of the data engineering team.
• Oversee data platform projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience leading and managing a data team.
• Fluency in Python, Airflow, and DBT.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and BI tools.
• Strong technical skills in Spark, Kafka, Athena, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in both English and Hebrew.
