What you will do
- Act as subject-matter expert for Arista EOS-based campus switching and WiFi 5/6/6E/7 platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 campus network issues including VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, LACP, LLDP, and multicast.
- Support CV-CUE and Arista WiFi deployments, focusing on RF planning, channel management, and client connectivity.
- Diagnose wireless issues such as RF interference, 802.11 association failures, and roaming degradation.
- Collaborate with software engineering to reproduce issues in labs, track bugs, and validate fixes.
- Document recurring issues and contribute to internal knowledge-base articles and runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise campus networks.
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and RF fundamentals (SNR, RSSI, MCS rates).
- Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, and modern fabric technologies like VXLAN/EVPN.
- Proficiency in forensic packet analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump, and OTA wireless captures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Linux CLI, Python, or shell scripting for log parsing and automation.
- Experience with ZTP workflows and using REST/gRPC APIs for network management.
- Relevant certifications such as CWNE, CWSP, CWNA, CCNP/CCIE Enterprise, or Arista ACE.
- Prior experience in a TAC or post-sales technical support environment.
