What you will do

• Set up new equipment and perform preventive maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
• Plan and delegate assignments to frontline technicians to maintain production capacity.
• Collaborate with process and product teams to implement corrective actions and improve yield.
• Develop new techniques for enhancing machine capability, accuracy, and OEE.
• Support machine conversion plans and prevent excursions affecting quality.
• Coordinate with EHS, Production, and IE teams for seamless factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Data Science.
• 0-3 years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens/Rockwell), robotics, and control theory.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor) and SCADA systems.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI/Grafana.
• Fluent English communication (spoken and written) is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) for defect detection or predictive maintenance.
• Experience with industrial vision systems like Cognex or Keyence.
• Familiarity with edge deployment of ML models.
