What you will do

• Serve as lead writer and strategic partner for health system executives, creating high-impact speeches and talking points.
• Develop external communications and media materials to promote clinical, research, and operational excellence.
• Manage executive digital presence and social media platforms to ensure alignment with organizational voice.
• Translate complex medical and research topics into accessible narratives for patients, media, and community audiences.
• Maintain editorial standards, style guidelines, and best practices using the Associated Press stylebook.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience researching, writing, and editing communications materials, preferably in healthcare, higher education, or news media.
• Proven experience writing for C-Suite leaders and managing executive voice.
• Thorough knowledge of word processing and Associated Press (AP) stylebook.
• Must obtain Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) within 30 days of hire.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in communications, public relations, or management.
• Basic knowledge of photo editing software.
