What you will do
- Build and manage an inbound lead generation engine covering content, SEO/GEO, paid acquisition, and thought leadership.
- Architect the blog strategy, editorial calendar, and proprietary research to establish brand authority.
- Manage executive thought leadership programs and ghostwrite for the CEO and senior leaders on LinkedIn and podcasts.
- Optimize the website as a conversion engine through messaging, CRO, and landing page optimization.
- Execute and scale paid acquisition programs across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google to drive qualified leads.
- Hire and lead a high-output marketing team consisting of content writers, paid specialists, and designers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with the majority spent at a performance or digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of building an agency's marketing engine and lead-gen programs from scratch.
- Direct accountability for marketing-sourced pipeline as a named OKR or KPI.
- Hands-on expertise across four or more channels (e.g., content, paid, SEO, email, CRO, events).
- Experience managing teams of two to five or more specialists.
- AI-native workflow utilizing tools like Claude or ChatGPT on a daily basis.
Nice to have
- Experience specifically marketing a marketing agency.
- Expertise in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Overviews.
- Existing relationships with trade press such as Digiday, AdWeek, or Modern Retail.
- Based in or able to travel to NYC monthly.
