What you will do

• Develop backend systems that transform observability data into actionable customer insights surfaced in the product.
• Build and evolve Portfolio Insights, OpenTelemetry exploration, and product analytics capabilities.
• Work primarily in Go, using Python and SQL for data work.
• Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to define what “meaningful insights” means for customers.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and distributed systems that support customer-facing features.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada
• 3+ years of experience building production services and features.
• Comfort working with React and TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Comfort with BigQuery/SQL and Python for data work.
• Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic and Grafana.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Go experience (or similar systems language).
• Familiarity with GCP infrastructure primitives, Terraform, and container management (e.g., Kubernetes).
