What you will do

• Design and maintain applications using InterSystems IRIS and ObjectScript.
• Modernize VX130 data extraction and transformation processes.
• Analyze and work with VistA data structures, FileMan files, and globals.
• Develop RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and high-availability environment issues.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental United States
• 5+ years of experience with InterSystems Cache or IRIS
• 3+ years of experience with ObjectScript
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience developing REST APIs and system integrations
• Experience working in Agile software development environments

Nice to have

• Experience with VA healthcare technologies like VistA, FileMan, or MUMPS
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, XML, JSON)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Linux administration and scripting skills
