What you will do

• Lead the design and modernization of low-code applications to streamline FMCSA business workflows.
• Develop scalable, secure components using low-code platforms and integrate them with legacy systems, databases, and APIs.
• Ensure all solutions comply with federal security standards including NIST, FISMA, and Privacy Act requirements.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to maintain high-quality application delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and government stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to intermediate developers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8–10 years of software development experience with hands-on low-code platform expertise.
• Proven experience in federal or large-scale regulated environments.
• Strong proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), API development (REST/SOAP), and SQL databases.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and federal IT security standards.
