Location: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week in office) in the USA. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $143,200 – $285,600 per year

What you will do

• Architect, design, and develop reliable, high-performance data-path software for large-scale enterprise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Solve complex challenges related to the performance, scaling, and resiliency of distributed storage systems.
• Design innovative solutions for customer requirements within complex distributed systems.
• Collaborate with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Engage with customers and support teams to resolve critical production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
• 6-10 years of experience in designing and developing applications.
• Expertise in C++, C, or Java.
• Solid understanding of OS internals, data structures, algorithms, and distributed data management.
• Proven experience building clustered, high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed applications or systems software.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Cassandra, or Zookeeper.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM, VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen.
• Experience with file systems, operating systems, or database back-ends.
