TL;DR
Senior Systems Engineer (AI): Building the observability layer for AI-assisted software development with an accent on line-level code attribution and Git workflow integration. Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hybrid in specified office locations).

What you will do
- Build core systems to detect and attribute AI-generated code at the line level across complex Git workflows.
- Design reliable pipelines for capturing, classifying, and shipping developer and agent activity data.
- Work directly with Git internals to collect data without interrupting developer workflows.
- Maintain integrations with various coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot via editor and CLI hooks.
- Own cross-platform behavior and performance across macOS, Linux, and Windows.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong background in systems engineering, backend, OS internals, or developer infrastructure.
- Comfort with concurrent, long-running, low-level software development.
- Experience building production systems that are fast, reliable, and invisible to the user.
- Strong product intuition and high agency in solving complex engineering challenges.
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of Git internals.
- Experience with developer tools, dev infra, or monitoring agents (EDR, telemetry).
- Familiarity with SQLite or embedded storage solutions.
- Experience with cross-platform native development.
