What you will do

• Create and implement business development strategies for federal opportunities, particularly for the CMS Innovation Center.
• Lead proposal pursuits, including bid strategies, developing research approaches, and conducting technical reviews.
• Direct large, complex federal health implementation, monitoring, and evaluation projects to ensure high-quality execution and fiscal stewardship.
• Maintain strategic relationships with federal clients, specifically the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
• Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams of economists, data scientists, researchers, and operational staff.
• Represent the organization in federal stakeholder meetings, technical discussions, and conferences.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in health economics, public health, public policy, or a related social science discipline.
• 10+ years of leadership or management experience in health policy or federal health program work.
• Proven track record of leading business development efforts that result in contract awards.
• Experience serving as a Project Director on large, complex federal contracts.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience working with or for CMS or similar federal health agencies.
• Expertise in Medicaid policy, value-based specialty care, or pharmaceuticals.
