What you will do
- Own and evolve the end-to-end contracting function for all agreement types, including client, provider, vendor, and partner contracts.
- Design and implement scalable contracting processes, governance models, and service SLAs.
- Oversee and optimize the Ironclad CLM system, including workflows, intake processes, and templates.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of contracting professionals, establishing clear roles and performance expectations.
- Review, structure, and negotiate complex, high-impact agreements aligned with company risk tolerance and commercial objectives.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard language in partnership with Legal and Finance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in contracting or legal operations within the healthcare industry.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers or senior individual contributors.
- Deep expertise in managing multiple contract types (client, vendor, partner) within healthcare.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, specifically Ironclad.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Proven track record of building or scaling contracting or deal desk functions.
- Experience partnering closely with executive stakeholders and Legal teams.
- Strong operational mindset capable of translating strategy into execution.
