What you will do
- Manage systems data for global clients, ensuring day-to-day operational stability and security compliance.
- Optimize CICS architecture, including the configuration of regions, transactions, and resources via CICSPlex.
- Integrate CICS with external platforms and systems using SNA, TCP/IP protocols, and CICS Transaction Gateway.
- Monitor and tune CICS performance using tools such as IBM OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, and CICS Performance Analyzer.
- Develop automation scripts using REXX and JCL for repetitive maintenance and system monitoring tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend modernization options and prioritize technical tickets.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in CICS Architecture and Configuration (including CICSPlex and web services).
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages: COBOL, C++, PL/I, and Assembler.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe file systems, specifically VSAM and IAM.
- Advanced knowledge of RACF for managing security permissions and ensuring policy compliance.
- Advanced English level is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
