What you will do

• Manage client system data and ensure daily security compliance.
• Implement and maintain Mainframe Storage Subsystems within multi-LPAR, multi-site Sysplex environments.
• Execute tape migration projects and perform upgrades for the MX Mainframe.
• Upgrade microcode levels on Mainframe Storage Subsystems, Tape Libraries, and HMCs SKLM.
• Configure IODEF for zOS, Parallel Sysplex, and update PR/SM definitions via HMC.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to recommend modernization options and identify business opportunities.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of IBM DISK DS8k, Virtual Tape Library (TS4400, TS7770), and DFSMS.
• Proficiency with IBM z/OS Products: TSO/Utilities, JCL, SDSF, IDCAMS, and GDPS.
• Experience upgrading Mainframe Storage Subsystems and Tape Library microcode.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for professional communication with clients.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be based in or able to work from Hortolandia, São Paulo, Brazil.
