TL;DR

What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate master licensing agreements for SaaS/PaaS, software licensing agreements, partner agreements, and procurement contracts for internal and external clients across EMEA.
- Review and revise contract terms including limitation of liability, IP indemnity, license grants, and warranties in line with policies.
- Support sales and business teams with RFP processes and contract terms requiring approval.
- Handle special projects across privacy/data protection, litigation, employment, M&A, and other regional legal matters.
- Coordinate contract review across product, services, and finance; support legal template revisions and contract interpretation.
- Identify red-flag risk areas and work with business stakeholders to obtain appropriate approvals, including evaluating AI tools to improve legal work efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer licensed to practice law and in good standing in any jurisdiction.
- Experience with SaaS/PaaS/software licensing, preferably within a corporate legal department.
- Strong contract formation, drafting, review, management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing high-value end-to-end deal cycles with enterprise-level clients and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
- Experience supporting international/cross-border transactions, ideally within EMEA or other multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Basic understanding of software intellectual property law and practices.
