Senior Legal Counsel

TL;DR

Senior Legal Counsel: Provide proactive, business-oriented legal support across an international scope with an accent on end-to-end contracting for complex commercial arrangements and multi-jurisdictional legal risk mitigation. Focus on drafting and improving templates and policies, advising on commercial/privacy/IP/consumer/employment matters, and representing the company in courts and administrative bodies when required.

What you will do

• Deliver proactive, business-oriented legal support across an international scope, identifying and mitigating legal risk.
• Lead end-to-end contracting for complex commercial arrangements, including MSAs, SaaS/PS agreements, partner/reseller agreements, DPAs, and SOWs.
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Product, Finance, HR, and Operations to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice aligned with business priorities.
• Advise independently on commercial, privacy (GDPR), intellectual property, consumer, and employment topics, escalating material risks when needed.
• Draft, review, and improve standard terms, templates, policies, and playbooks to enable consistent and scalable decisions.
• Conduct legal research across jurisdictions and represent the company in courts and before administrative bodies when required.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of legal experience with strong exposure to commercial legal work (preferably e-commerce, IT, TMT, online marketing, or related areas).
• Qualified lawyer in a European relevant jurisdiction; previous experience working with Romanian clients is an advantage.
• Proven ability to independently negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements from drafting through execution.
• Strong legal analysis and writing skills to translate multi-jurisdictional issues into clear, actionable guidance.
• Solid knowledge of commercial, consumer, GDPR/privacy, and employment fundamentals.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Romanian.
