Salary: $174,800 – $314,400 USD (based on location and experience).

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Own the delivery of the Agent Runtime platform from architecture definition through production scale.
• Define execution strategy, milestones, and operating rhythms for a multi-phase runtime roadmap.
• Ensure engineering excellence in security, reliability, observability, and operational maturity.
• Partner with product and architecture leadership to align technical direction with business priorities.
• Establish measurable SLOs and metrics for latency, throughput, and compliance readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams, including 2+ years managing other managers.
• 10+ years of experience in software development engineering and defining delivery processes.
• Proven success leading large-scale distributed systems or platform runtime teams in production.
• Strong technical depth in backend/platform architecture, service boundaries, and API contracts.
• Experience building secure, multi-tenant systems with strong governance and audit controls.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience driving reliability practices, including incident response and operational maturity.
