What you will do

• Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans according to physician and hospital policy.
• Support OR specialties and provide high-quality nursing care within a hospital surgical setting.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentor and provide verbal and written feedback to peers and support staff regarding clinical practice.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Manage assignments and delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.

Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• 3-5 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.
• Valid Act 34 Criminal Background, Act 33 Child Abuse, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting clearances.

Nice to have

• Certification in a surgical specialty.
• 1-3 years of experience in Cardiac, Neuro, General-trauma, or Transplant nursing.
• 1 year of travel nursing experience.
