What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models and projections to evaluate scientific opportunities.
• Develop partner-facing materials and executive presentations to support deal processes.
• Assess scientific, commercial, and strategic fit of opportunities within Lila's platform.
• Support the structuring and execution of ventures from diligence through to deal close.
• Synthesize complex scientific and financial information into decision-ready outputs for leadership.
• Collaborate with scientific, finance, legal, and product teams to advance active opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in Cambridge, MA USA.
• 4-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or growth equity.
• Subsequent experience in venture capital, a startup, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to build complex financial models independently from scratch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for distilling complex information for senior audiences.

• Experience evaluating early-stage scientific or technology opportunities.
• Familiarity with deep tech or life sciences sectors.
• Ability to translate scientific concepts into business and financial terms.
