TL;DR
Pre-Sales Consultant (Fintech): Identifying customer pain points and designing technical solutions for fraud and financial crime prevention within the financial services sector with an accent on the value sell and technical win. Focus on delivering customized demos, scoping technical solutions, and guiding Proof of Concepts (PoC) to ensure product fit.
Location: Must currently reside in Germany; travel required 25%-60% within the DACH region.

What you will do
- Conduct detailed discovery with customers to uncover needs, drivers, and technical challenges.
- Deliver customized demos, presentations, and scoping meetings to technically qualify deals.
- Collaborate with customer solution architects to design and document technical solutions.
- Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires in coordination with internal teams.
- Define and guide Proof of Concepts (PoC) with clear success criteria to ensure conversion.
- Maintain market awareness of emerging fraud trends, regulations, and competitor intelligence.
Requirements
- Must currently reside in Germany and have necessary permits to work.
- 5+ years of pre-sales consulting experience in fraud, financial crime, or related tech working with top-tier banks, or 5+ years in a senior fraud management position at a large bank.
- English: Fluent (C1) required.
- Deep understanding of the fraud prevention, AML, and financial crime landscape.
- Technical awareness of Linux, Cloud (Azure, AWS), APIs, JSON, and SDKs.
- Basic understanding of statistical modeling and Machine Learning algorithms.
