What you will do

• Lead cross-functional implementation of technical designs and multi-tier network solutions within project scope and strategic direction.
• Evaluate complex existing network environments and recommend improvements to the network architecture and operations.
• Drive adoption of IT best practices and standards; develop and maintain network documentation.
• Act as a technical SME, translating complex network outputs for stakeholders at all business levels.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, VPN, security, load balancing) and initiatives.
• Oversee small-to-medium project budgets and support after-hours maintenance, incidents, and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional IT experience and 3 years participating on project teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Ethernet, wide area networking, routing, TCP/IP, and voice and wireless communications.
• Understanding of DNS and domain registration.
• Network experience in global enterprise environments.
• Ability to perform essential functions with limited assistance.
• Willingness to travel 5%–10% of the time as needed.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNP certification.
• AWS certification.
• Fortinet certification.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki, Cisco ISE (802.1X), FortiClient, FortiGate (firewall/SD-WAN/ADVPN), FortiADC, and Infoblox.
• Experience using network management and tuning tools such as Wireshark.
