Project Coordinator

TL;DR

What you will do

• Oversee planning, issuing, and progress tracking of CWPs and IWPs, including participation in integrated planning sessions for IWPs.
• Work with discipline Superintendent and Construction Coordinators to identify and resolve issues related to design information, schedule, material deliveries, change management, safety, and quality.
• Interpret RFIs with responsible Engineering and provide constructible responses through engineering interfaces.
• Review and monitor contractor/craft look-ahead schedules for assigned work scope; maintain a daily log for site records.
• Supervise Construction Coordinators, manage workload and process flow, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure IWP turnover documentation is returned from the field and maintain lesson learned/OFI documentation across discipline construction coordinators.

Requirements

• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search) if selected.
• Typically 6+ years of project controls, construction, or construction management experience in similar facility construction.
• Preferred: knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and engineering drawings/documents.
• Preferred: ability to set up and perform project controls functions on smaller, less complex projects.
• Preferred: ability to do material takeoffs and field estimates.
• Preferred: communication, organizational, problem-solving, and supervisory skills; familiarity with safety regulations.
