What you will do

• Lead complex Palo Alto firewall projects, including deployment, rule development, and third-party system integration.
• Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for junior engineering staff.
• Perform capacity planning, hardware specification, and best-practice recommendations.
• Manage connectivity, VPNs, Wildfire, and SSL decryption/inspection configurations.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing and provide post-production support.
• Develop and maintain technical runbooks and procedural documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to CJIS background check requirements.
• Current PCNSE certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies.
• Minimum 6 years of professional Information Security experience in a consulting or enterprise role.
• Practical experience with cloud providers, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior colleagues in a customer-facing capacity.
