What you will do

  • Prepare and process full-cycle payroll in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle irregular payments (bonuses, leave top-ups, salary continuance, commissions, termination payments) and overtime/on-call timesheet entries.
  • Audit employee timecards for accuracy and completeness in the time and attendance module.
  • Manage garnishments and employment verification requests as required.
  • Administer and reconcile benefits deductions and employer contributions in Dayforce; prepare and upload 401(k) and HSA contribution files and record journal entries.
  • Support W-2 preparation and annual reconciliations, and assist with internal/external payroll audits; resolve employee payroll questions by researching policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Location: Remote (USA)
  • 3+ years of experience administering full-cycle payroll.
  • 1+ year of recent Dayforce (Ceridian) experience.
  • Understanding of US payroll practices and legislation.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.

Culture & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $74,000–$82,000 + bonus + benefits (non-overtime eligible).
  • Remote role with periodic in-office events requiring travel to Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual/annual meetings.
  • Payroll work includes compliance, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
