What you will do

• Support financial statement audits through liaison activities and documentation preparation.
• Conduct internal control testing, walkthroughs, and maturity assessments.
• Perform root cause analysis for audit findings and Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs).
• Develop and assist with corrective action plans and remediation efforts.
• Prepare audit reports, dashboards, metrics, and status briefings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve internal controls and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to work on-site in Washington, DC daily
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing Federal internal audits or audit consulting.
• Experience with Yellow Book, GAO Green Book, OMB A-123, FMFIA, and FFMIA.
