What you will do

  • Define system-level architecture, including subsystem decomposition and interface specifications.
  • Lead the engineering of physical embodiments of robotics and automation solutions.
  • Integrate software, hardware, controls, and perception technologies into unified, deployable products.
  • Make architectural trade-offs and resolve interface ownership across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure system robustness and reliability for 24/7 production environments.
  • Translate high-level goals into concrete subsystem requirements and align engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in multidisciplinary system architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial controls and PLC platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff).
  • Direct experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) and machine vision.
  • Proven track record of deploying automation solutions into 24/7 production environments.
  • Experience leading and developing engineering teams.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or robotics discipline.
  • Experience with ROS / ROS2 and modern robotics software stacks.
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066, IEC 61508).
  • Experience with digital twin or virtual commissioning tools.
