Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 yearly

What you will do

• Partner with architects and engineers to capture system architectures, interactions, and the reasoning behind technical decisions.
• Create high-impact technical artifacts including architecture overviews, narratives, roadmaps, and knowledge maps.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to extract and synthesize institutional knowledge.
• Structure technical information to be consumable by both engineers and AI-assisted agent-based workflows.
• Identify and fill gaps in technical knowledge to improve clarity and consistency across engineering artifacts.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate knowledge organization and maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a technical role (Software/Systems Engineer, Architect, or Technical Writer).
• Strong understanding of modern engineering ecosystems, including Cloud platforms, APIs, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Proven ability to translate complex architectural concepts into structured, useful documentation.
• Strong systems-thinking skills to understand relationships across services and organizational boundaries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be eligible for US-based benefits (401k, US health insurance).

• Experience supporting platform engineering or internal developer enablement programs.
• Familiarity with semantic knowledge organization and agent-friendly documentation structures.
• Ability to create lightweight visual diagrams and workflows to improve system comprehension.
