Focus on debugging and refining digital blocks, driving timing closure, and documenting results for cross-functional teams using Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre X and Linux-based scripting.

Salary: 32–43 CAD per hour

What you will do
- Analyze sub-circuit blocks across PVT conditions to verify performance, power, and area targets.
- Iteratively debug, refine, and validate designs under guidance from a technical mentor, documenting findings for cross-functional teams.
- Design and develop RTL modules for logical blocks and functional units in high-performance architectures.
- Support ASIC design-flow activities including RTL lint, block-level assertions, synthesis timing constraints, and timing closure.
- Collaborate with architects, design, verification, and physical design engineers to solve technical issues and meet milestone goals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program working toward a BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- Full-time, on-site work required in Toronto, Canada.
- Working knowledge of Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with digital electronics fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with initiative to pursue new solutions.
