Test Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and build production test software, methods, and equipment for new products and existing production lines.
• Specify, procure, install, and validate new test systems while maintaining and improving current systems.
• Support production teams with test, product-change, and process-change challenges.
• Build and evaluate prototypes and provide development teams with feedback on quality and manufacturability.
• Maintain test procedures, verification documentation, and training materials.
• Improve test yield, downtime, and PPM performance while supporting quotations and approval workflows.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Electronics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, production, or industrialization; automotive experience is preferred.
• Strong electronics fundamentals, including the ability to read and create electrical schematics.
• Experience with vision systems such as Cognex VisionPro, AVT, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with graphical programming tools such as LabVIEW or Keysight VEE.
• Professional Swedish and English required.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with Minitab, C#, and CAN protocols.
