TL;DR
Senior Subject Matter Expert (Atlassian): Leading the configuration, integration, and automation of enterprise collaboration tools for the FBI CJIS CTP team with an accent on Atlassian Data Center applications and complex COTS platform management. Focus on designing standardized workflows, implementing advanced plugin functionality, and ensuring system performance and security compliance within an Agile/SAFe environment.
Location: Remote (Must be based in the US and hold an active Secret clearance or above)

What you will do
- Lead the configuration, extension, and enterprise integration of Atlassian Data Center applications including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Design standardized workflows, permission schemes, and automations to ensure consistency and traceability.
- Develop and execute scripts using Groovy and Python to automate workflows and administrative functions.
- Provide database-level support for PostgreSQL and interface with REST APIs to enhance system functionality.
- Conduct Section 508 compliance testing and maintain technical documentation for FISMA/ATO requirements.
- Deliver user training and collaborate with DevOps and product owners to optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance or above is required.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application configuration and systems integration.
- Expertise in Atlassian Data Center suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd).
- Proficiency in JQL, AQL, and scripting languages like Python or Groovy.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management and REST API integrations.
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement and user training.
