What you will do

• Define radar operational modes, including entry/exit criteria and inter-mode transitions.
• Design, implement, and test phased-array beamformers for X-band and SATCOM applications.
• Integrate AESA systems with wideband SDR transceivers using software-based interfaces.
• Perform system-level debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and software components.
• Document system architectures and present technical results to diverse audiences.
• Train and mentor junior software engineers in AESA techniques and algorithm development.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience with pulsed, pulse-Doppler, monopulse tracking, and FMCW radar systems.
• Strong knowledge of AESA, hybrid antenna systems, and parabolic antennas.
• Proficiency in C++, C, Fortran, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Understanding of the full hardware and software development lifecycle and QA processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with ground-based and portable radar systems for small aircraft or man-portable applications.
