What you will do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate and optimize third-party sensor data within the SSA platform.
• Develop and implement high-precision algorithms for orbit propagation, determination, and sensor fusion.
• Create methods to fuse diverse data sources into a unified image of the space debris environment.
• Conduct validation and verification campaigns to benchmark algorithmic performance.
• Transition prototype algorithms into scalable, production-ready software solutions.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in SSA/SST.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of astrodynamics and orbital mechanics.
• Proficiency in Java, Fortran (90+), or Python.
• Valid working permit for Spain/EU is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with space surveillance and tracking systems.
• Experience with AI/ML applications for anomaly detection or orbit prediction.
• Understanding of space policy and compliance frameworks.
