What you will do

• Build and equip an internal ground test workshop, including hardware procurement and pre-compliance setup.
• Expand testing capabilities to include environmental, climatic, and mechanical certification pipelines.
• Execute integration ground testing to validate system behavior against rigorous technical requirements.
• Coordinate test campaigns with external partners and commercial facilities like IABG.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Author comprehensive test documentation including Test Requests and formal data reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ground testing, qualification, or hardware integration within defense, aerospace, or UAV sectors.
• Direct experience with military or aerospace standards such as STANAG 4370 or MIL-STD-810.
• Proven ability to specify and procure laboratory test equipment and sensors.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• Strong diagnostic skills for isolating anomalies in complex systems.
• Ability to work independently and drive test campaigns from preparation to reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with loitering munitions or guided tactical hardware.
• Familiarity with European test houses and certification bodies.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or data post-processing tools.
• Knowledge of additional standards like MIL-STD-461/464 or DO-160.
• Conversational German language skills.
