What you will do

• Design, train, and ship ML systems for security and governance, focusing on prompt injection and anomaly detection.
• Build supporting infrastructure including data pipelines, feature stores, model serving, and evaluation harnesses.
• Evaluate and make build-vs-buy decisions between frontier models and custom ML systems.
• Own the technical architecture, model lifecycle, and evaluation methodology for the Intelligence Org.
• Mentor team members and help recruit new engineers as the organization scales.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for the Agentic Platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied ML/AI experience shipping production systems, ideally in safety or security domains.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Proven track record of building systems around ML models (pipelines, serving, monitoring).
• Experience with production LLM systems, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Visa sponsorship is considered on a case-by-case basis.
