What you will do

• Lead research direction at the intersection of generative AI and recommendation systems for adtech products.
• Own architectural decisions and accountability for large-scale recommender systems impacting 770 million users.
• Translate cutting-edge research into production-ready AI systems using PyTorch and related technologies.
• Optimize large generative models for high concurrency, quantization, and distillation under production constraints.
• Serve as the primary expert and consultant for complex ML bottlenecks across teams.
• Mentor senior and mid-level scientists and grow the data science research team.

Requirements

• PhD in CS, Statistics, Math, or Physics with 5+ years experience in large-scale recommender systems in AdTech, e-commerce, or social domains.
• Publications in top conferences such as SIGIR, KDD, NeurIPS, or ICLR.
• Deep expertise in PyTorch, generative AI, and large-scale model optimization techniques.
• Proven track record of technical mentorship and leading research teams.
• Ability to set multi-quarter research agendas and align cross-functional leadership.
• Fluent English (C1+) required.
