Business Analyst (Insurance)

Business Analyst (Insurance): Facilitating and managing project delivery across the group with an accent on requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on creating user stories via Gherkin methodologies, documenting As-Is/To-Be processes, and supporting Agile sprints.

Location: Hybrid (Liverpool City Centre). Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; no visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: up to £39,000

What you will do

• Lead requirement-gathering meetings with stakeholders and document business needs using the MOSCOW technique.
• Document current "As Is" and future "To Be" processes using Visio and BPMN 2.0.
• Independently create user stories with Gherkin Methodologies to support Agile sprints and backlog refinement.
• Identify business problems, challenges, and areas for improvement within a vertical squad.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation.
• Provide weekly progress reports to management and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience with Gherkin, Agile, Visio, and BPMN 2.0 (certification required).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be based in the UK with at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
