What you will do

• Prepare, review, and validate indirect tax reconciliations and returns across multiple global jurisdictions.
• Manage U.S. and international indirect tax audits, coordinating documentation requests and resolving findings.
• Monitor global tax legislation changes and assess their impact on compliance obligations and business operations.
• Provide technical guidance on the tax implications of contracts, intercompany flows, and operational changes.
• Support the deployment of tax engine upgrades and automated VAT tools, such as Vertex VAT Compliance.
• Implement e-invoicing solutions across international jurisdictions to ensure local alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in indirect tax compliance.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and global indirect tax frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Cluj-Napoca office (Hybrid).
