Product Designer (Medtech)

Location: Berlin/Potsdam office, Germany; occasional annual travel to customer and partner locations is required. Flexible working models include the option to work from home.

hirify.global develops digital health software, including D4L Collect, a GDPR-compliant platform for collecting and managing multimodal patient-reported and sensor data in research studies.

What you will do

• Design participant-, researcher-, investigator-, and clinician-facing experiences for D4L Collect.
• Shape Patient Registry, electronic case report forms, validated ePRO instruments, clinician data entry, and EHR interoperability workflows.
• Design understandable eConsent flows, efficient audit-trail interactions, and accessible experiences based on WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Create data-capture experiences for sound, images, video, sensors, wearables, and patient-reported data.
• Translate CDASH, validated ePRO instruments, and SDOH frameworks into practical UI patterns.
• Conduct discovery interviews, usability tests, and concept evaluations while contributing to a scalable design system.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience building product, UX, or UX/UI design craft in B2B SaaS, two-sided platforms, or regulated digital health.
• Experience with discovery, interaction and visual design, prototyping in Figma, and design system work.
• Demonstrated accessibility experience, with WCAG 2.1 AA as the minimum baseline.
• Working fluency with interviews, usability tests, and concept evaluations.
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, cognitive science, psychology, communication design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical research software such as EDC, ePRO/eCOA, eConsent, patient registry, or sensor-based study platforms.
• Understanding of HIPAA and/or GDPR in clinical trials.
• German at B2 level, especially for participant-facing research.
• Experience with a third language.
