What you will do

• Develop and maintain WordPress sites, custom themes, and plugins.
• Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress.
• Integrate and set up plugins like WooCommerce, WPML, and membership tools.
• Optimize page speed, database, and code for WordPress.
• Implement SEO/CRO best practices and create responsive designs from PSD layouts.
• Work with version control (GIT/SVN) on multiple projects under deadlines.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability for 40 hours/week, 9am-6pm PST.
• Strong WordPress knowledge, custom theme/plugin development, and integrations.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, AJAX, and LAMP.
• WP architecture, admin management, database/code optimization.
• Responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, W3C standards.
• Minimum 2 years WordPress experience; reliable workstation and internet.

Nice to have

• Experience with ReactJS/AngularJS, WPGraphQL/REST API, BigCommerce/Magento/Shopify.
