What you will do

• Lead the architecture and technical direction of complex backend and cloud-native services across the platform.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing distributed systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to shape technical solutions for high-impact areas.
• Drive technical planning and roadmap input for complex services and platform capabilities.
• Set high standards for system design, code quality, testing, observability, and engineering excellence.
• Mentor and guide engineers through design reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend and cloud development expertise.
• Hands-on experience with C#, Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience operating production-grade services in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations.
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
