Location: Remote (Canada). Must have at least 6 hours of overlap with PST (8 am to 2 pm PST)

Salary: $211,000 - $250,000 (US base salary)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain public APIs as part of the API Product suite.
• Build reliable and scalable software, web applications, and services using a service-oriented architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform functional visions into tangible roadmaps with clear outcomes.
• Support internal business units through shared engineering services and functionalities.
• Design backend APIs with a deep understanding of customer experience and performance.
• Participate in a weekly sprint schedule and a rotating on-call shift.

Requirements

• Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and analytical databases.
• Ability to bridge customer pain points with technical and product requirements.
• AI fluency is a baseline expectation; candidates will be evaluated on applied AI fluency during the interview.
• Ability to provide 6+ hours of overlap with PST (8 am to 2 pm PST).
• High degree of initiative and ownership when navigating ambiguity.

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Comfort with data modeling and real-time data performance.
