Location: Must be based in Vancouver, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 50% of time spent in the office per quarter.

Salary: $140,000–$210,000 CAD

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered agents for HR and Financial workflows.
• Take ownership of multiple functional areas from development through to production deployment.
• Implement tooling strategies and stay informed on industry trends to enhance AI capabilities.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and strong engineering practices.
• Ensure effective integration of AI-driven solutions within the existing hirify.global stack.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with web development frameworks (Python/Flask/Django/FastAPI preferred).
• 2+ years of experience with React and TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Vancouver, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and observability best practices.
