What you will do

• Build AWS services and shape the design of container and event-driven workloads in production.
• Establish practical standards for service visibility, enabling tracing from deployment through to live operation and incident response.
• Integrate AWS services with internal engineering ecosystems, including version control, build systems, and security tooling.
• Identify and remove inefficiencies in build, validation, and release processes via automation.
• Design and implement automated controls to embed security and governance guardrails into engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Advanced Terraform capability, specifically in designing shared module ecosystems and structuring large codebases.
• Strong Python engineering background for building internal tooling and automation frameworks.
• Solid experience with delivery tooling in complex environments, with Jenkins exposure being particularly useful.
• Practical knowledge of containers, including image lifecycle management and registry workflows.
• Experience building service visibility using native AWS telemetry (logs, metrics, and alerting).
• Proven history of collaborating directly with product or application engineers to accelerate and secure releases.
