What you will do

• Monitor system health and respond to alerts to maintain stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and performance issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Assist with system configuration, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support incident response and system recovery activities.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to capacity planning and scalability efforts while applying security practices.

Requirements

• Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX systems.
• Understanding of scripting or automation using Bash or Python.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and EKS.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a technical environment.

Nice to have

• Awareness of DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or New Relic.
• Understanding of system security, backup, and recovery practices.
