What you will do

  • Architect and lead the implementation of secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms.
  • Define and maintain infrastructure standards using Terraform and AWS Account Factory for Terraform.
  • Design event-driven and serverless architectures to support modern platform needs.
  • Build automation and internal tooling using Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
  • Integrate managed AI and generative AI services into cloud platforms with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Lead incident response and drive long-term reliability improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United Kingdom
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with AWS compute, networking, and serverless services.
  • Deep proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) certification.
  • Experience defining platform standards for multi-team environments.
  • Prior experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead.
