What you will do

• Design and maintain petabyte-scale high-performance databases and data models supporting real-time investigations.
• Build and optimize production data pipelines (batch and streaming) for large-scale blockchain datasets.
• Diagnose and tune complex SQL queries under heavy load in collaboration with product and research teams.
• Own infrastructure initiatives including index strategy, storage optimization, and system resilience.
• Develop scalable engines and self-serve automation for cluster scaling and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics infrastructure, or backend systems.
• Production-scale expertise with Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server (TB-scale datasets, replication, tuning).
• Advanced SQL reasoning skills for debugging and optimizing complex queries.
• Experience designing and evolving normalized and denormalized data models.
• Familiarity with data pipeline frameworks such as Airflow or DBT.
• AI fluency is a baseline expectation for accelerating workflows and solving problems.
