What you will do

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Monitor and respond to security events and incidents in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Implement IaC using Terraform with embedded security controls.
• Manage endpoint security solutions including Cortex XDR and SentinelOne, and cloud-based firewalls.
• Apply zero trust principles through network segmentation, authentication, and authorization.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Located in the United States or Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or similar roles.
• 5+ years in security engineering, network security, and protocols.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills; relevant GCP certifications highly desirable.
