What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and secure infrastructure on GCP to meet established SLAs.
• Deploy, manage, and scale GKE clusters across multiple regions, including lifecycle management and capacity planning.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident response using modern CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Monitor site stability and performance using GCP-native observability tooling and troubleshoot stack-wide issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to transition new features into production via Kubernetes-native patterns.
• Maintain standards for information security and compliance, including ISO, SOX, and SSAE 16.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).
• Deep Kubernetes experience, including production cluster operation, control plane management, and Helm chart authoring.
• Strong cloud networking fundamentals (VPC, DNS, TLS, service mesh, load balancing).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience supporting and debugging Java/J2EE applications in production environments.
